Everyone else said the next step is surgery I went to see Dr.Kern he said let me help you. I don’t even know where to begin .I get teary-eyed thinking about it .I have suffered with lower back pain since I was 12 after falling on ice and breaking my tailbone .It just got progressively... worse as I got older. I would pull my back out two , three times a year .could barely walk . only relief I had was laying in bed flat .by the grace of God I was on Instagram and found decompression at Dr. Kerns office which I’ve been thinking about doing for quite a while finally decided to do it went in for treatment and since the treatment I have gotten such a great relief . my back hasn’t gone out in the last eight months since I’ve been going . I plan on going in for a tweaking probably for the rest of my life just like a car you’ve got to get serviced .so I am thrilled beyond words . All of the staff was extremely nice, including the Doctor. I'm looking forward to getting started with my back.Update**Thoroughly DISAPPOINTED with my results!! ? Dr. Kern was excited about... getting me started on treatment and explained to my fiance and me that afterward, we could do a post-treatment MRI to see how much "good" the treatment did. At first, I felt a little better but then hit a plateau where I just didn't get any better throughout the treatments..and was just having a lot of pain! At the end of treatment it was a completely different "tune" from the doctor. He would NOT send me for a post-MRI scan saying that my case was too "involved to see the results we were expecting" and "I needed to take a couple of weeks to break then come back for more treatment bi-weekly".. for MORE money of course (not covered by insurance)..then just MAYBE we would see results!!?? ??? still nothing was ever said about an MRI for proof that any "good" and disc repair was actually being done. Very disappointing experience with the amount of money I paid. 3800$ CASH TO BE EXACT! If you have more than a few minor disc issues then DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!I will add this since this review triggered a phone call to us today.If the doctor would have been 100% upfront and honest in our initial consultation, (instead of half-truths)...Explaining that my case was way more involved than the average person AND that he suspected my treatment plan would take a lot longer than one single round, resulting in more money, than maybe my fiance and I wouldn't have been so upset with the first result at the end of treatment. However, I believe the Doctor knew that if he was 100 percent honest with us during the initial consultation, then we probably would have never started treatments too begin with. He claimed today on the phone while speaking to my fiance that the issues of my caliber could take a long time to resolve. Well, guess what Doc?? You never said that upfront!!!. We both were told, I WOULD see a difference. Maybe, if you would have been completely honest from the beginning, NONE of this would be happening. Now, you've left a horrible taste in my mouth from the way you attempted to resolve this. Do I think you care about me and your other patients, yes. However, I personally think you care MORE about the money.read more
